Travertine is a type of limestone that is formed by mineral deposits from natural springs. Other minerals mix together with the calcite to create unique swirls and movement that give travertine its distinctive character.

Travertino Bowl
This bowl is non-toxic as it has been treated with a food-safe sealant which not only protects it from staining, but also ensures it is suitable for use with food. Please be aware however, that natural stone will always retain some level of absorption and therefore products with a high acid, fat or oil content should not be placed on it.
This object is easy to clean. Avoid acidic substances and clean it with gentle soap. Simply wipe it down with a damp cloth. Don’t use this object in the microwave or the oven. Handle with care, if dropped it will shatter.
