Harry Rigalo
Harry Rigalo is an Athenian designer that creates spaces and objects, reminders of childhood’s familiar and safe conditions, by using stimuli that mobilize the collective memory. He mainly focuses on sustainable and collectible design, that’s why in many of his works he collects and reuses, dismantles and reassembles parts of previous furniture, composing them into new bodies.
As Harry has said:
Each piece of furniture or object, on whatever scale it is in relation to the space, tries to represent an emotion.
Rigalo constantly explores how people understand identity, choose the visual-design language that suits them and reject others. This freedom of choice has always fascinated Harry, who always pushes himself to different ways of transformation, new memories and emotions.
