The second plate that was designed to be part of the Athenian Delta restaurant’s unique culinary experience. It can be combined with Delta Moca Plate Mini for the most unique ways to display food, or as an eye-catching decorative element. Delta has a “nothing lost-nothing wasted” philosophy, respecting natural resources, while simultaneously raising consciousness around the importance of sustainability. After several meetings and idea exchange with the Head Chefs, Thanos Feskos and George Papazacharias, Kosmas Serpetinis created this object, which is made entirely from scraps of moca cream limestone. Hand-finished with special care.

Delta Sand Plate
This plate is non-toxic as it has been treated with a food-safe sealant which not only protects it from staining, but also ensures it is suitable for use with food. Be aware however, that natural stone will always retain some level of absorption and therefore products with a high acid, fat or oil content should not be placed on it.
This object is easy to clean. Avoid acidic substances and clean it with gentle soap. Simply wipe it down with a damp cloth. Don’t use this object in the microwave or the oven. Handle with care, if dropped it will shatter.
